A revival of the first Darkglass design, the Harmonic Booster is a clean bass preamp that aims to master the control of harmonics and filtering, which are crucial to sculpting the character and texture of a bass tone.

The Harmonic Booster is derived from the first few gain and filter stages of what would later become the core of the Darkglass overdrive technology. This clean preamp enhances attack and presence while sculpting the mids for a very percussive and aggressive character. It features a unique tone-shaping Character control, as well as a 3-band active EQ with a semi-parametic mid control.

    I have yet to combine it with other pedals but I can tell you just this thing straight into an amp makes a huge difference in sound. It adds heft, punch and sparkle to your sound all at once if you want it to. 100% the biggest sound improvement I have ever experienced from an eq pedal. Darkglass just keeps knocking it out of the park.

    This product sounds great. The quality of tone I have gotten from this pedal is amazing to me. I have used with my fender, squire, and schecter basses and it makes them all sound better.

    Best pedal preamp I've ever used. Love the simplicity and quality of sound. I have a few other Darkglass products and the more I use them the more and more I fall in love with them. They are somewhat pricey, but not too far out. Well worth it.

    this pedal is amazing. i've tried it with a number of bass and amps (tube and solid state). it just makes everything sound better. makes it real easy to get finger picked p-bass sound that shines through the mix without crushing it. or put it before your favorite distortion/fuzz effects for even more mayhem.

    This will use a 9V power supply
