This is an excellent cab. Sounds great. Built with high standards. Fortunately it is built well, since the cab was clearly damaged by some kind of impact. Huge divot on the front trim. Other than the damaged box and the divot on the cab its good. I would have given 5 stars if not for damage

Was looking to take my Diezel VH4s tone to the next level, and by that I mean I could tell my previous cab was hindering and choking the amps full potential. After reading many a forums on rig talk and others it was clear that Diezel amps with Diezel cabs are the way it was meant to be. Tax return came and I chose the 4x12 Rear Loaded Vintage 30's cabinet. Super solid/sturdy well built cab. I plugged it in and let it rip. First impressions were a little disheartening. The tone was stiff, kind of one dimensional, and just not quite what I had read about. The harmonics and bass response were impressive, you could tell the cab was working in harmony with speakers, but still that 3d sound everyone was talking about on the forums wasn't there. So was considering swapping out speakers adn/or trying a plethora of options...but among doing some research on speaker break in time, I found that v30's need a decent chunk of break in time to loosen the speaker fibers up and release their full potential. So I did recommended break in procedures from celestion website, this DRASTICALLY changed the sound of the cab. 2 weeks later, and 20 plus hours of hi decibel playing and the cab is literally the best thing on the planet. The rich, deep but tight low end combined with the resonance of the cab perfectly tuned to bring out the 4ths and 5ths growl with power chords, and the singing 3d crunch in the hi mids now that the speakers were free to be themselves is unparalleled in any other cabinet I've tried. This is the real deal and is absolutely larger than life when paired with my Diezel vh4. I'm a fan for life. Its hard to imagine tone getting any better than this.
