DrumDial

collapse expand iconDescription

The DrumDial Tuner quickly and precisely tunes all drums by accurately measuring head tension. Tension rod torque tells you when you are over tightening a bolt to prevent thread damage, but is not accurate for drum tuning because of the difference in screw tolerances, plating, corrosion and thread wear. You can eliminate these problems by using a DrumDial to measure drum head tension directly from the drum head, allowing you to precisely tune your drums faster and easier than ever before.

DrumDial has been designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards with many key features. Get a DrumDial and make it possible for your drums to consistently sound great.

I highly recommend this Digital Drum Tuner for tuning your conga drums. I was skeptical at first before purchasing but what an amazing surprise. My conga drums sounds are really sweet and pure. I will always have this equipment with me. It really makes your drums resonate beautifully with each other.

I use this product every week to keep my drums in tune (although I believe it's overkill, I figure why not since I have this beauty). My drums sound AMAZING after using this device. It's all in the subtleties, and this certainly proves it.

  • I recommend this tuner

I first bought the analog version of this unit to savanna a few bucks but found it hard to read the dial, especially in low light conditions. I returned it and bought the digital version which cost more but is well worth the money. The digital display is much easier to read.

  • Does the task for which it was designed. Very easy to use.

In the event of tuning a drum with a top and bottom head, you would need to tune them both. You go in a star shape and tune them until they are all in the desired range.
