The color scheme of the Duesenberg Starplayer TV Custom is classic and familiar — black and gold with cream binding. The body lines carry echoes of the past, but still speak to the present. From the Deco-reminiscent stairstep headstock and sculpted pickguard to the swoop of the arm on the Deluxe Tremola tailpiece, the looks are definitely luxurious. Sonically, a triple helping of Duesenberg's D-Tron humbuckers delivers a huge range of sounds, with more than a little thanks to the Multi-Tone Pot that serves both as a tone control and a blend pot to bring the middle pickup in, regardless of switch position. Vibrato lovers will appreciate previously tremolo tailpiece for it's smooth, easy action and superb tuning stability. The Starplayer TV Custom is a great way to step beyond the expected.     The quality and tone of this guitar is superb and as advertised. Was disappointed the set up was not done. Especially for an instrument supposedly "factory pleked". I was able to set the action myself within Duesenberg recommendations/tolorences and the playability is AWESOME. Yes, I strongly recommend Duesenberg to anyone remotely interested. It was money well spent in my opinion.
