So about a year ago I reviewed this strap. Right when I got it it appeared that it should last for years. Well the strap part will but the leather end won't. It's getting close to all the way torn, even after not being used all that much. It hardly holds my bass on anymore and it's no good for a light guitar at all. It's too stiff. Ok for most basses but not for guitars. You'd probly be fine with strap-locks but I'd get them right when I bought this strap.

Overall, this is a really good value. That being said, it probably would not survive a tour. But, for the dollar amount you can look cool and play some gigs in style. Pros: Really thick and strong Grommets aren't sharp Looks cool Cons: "Leather" ends are a stiff pleather, won't last forever Plastic buckles probably won't hold up to years of abuse Buy it. You'll dig it. Obviously, don't buy this to hold up your $1500+ guitars...

I got this back in April because it looked cool. I'm not disappointed with the strap. Even though it says nylon its really durable and once i broke it in it came really comfortable. Great Buy and would get again.
Do not let the word "nylon" throw you off...

This is a seriously tough strap. This baby is thick and very much like a military-grade web belt. The grommets add a touch of style but also serve to help keep your guitar from nose-diving away from you. The whole thing is solid, stylish, and inexpensive. Why only 4 stars? Well, it is a personal reason but an important one. Like most quality guitar straps, the ends of this very high-quality item are made of leather. I happen to be vegan. A synthetic option would make this a perfect strap for me. There are options out there for others like me, but finding this quality at this price while not having is made with animal products is difficult. Bummer. If that sort of thing does not bother you, go for it. This strap rules.

I already have one of these straps and thought I'd get another one for my other Bass. I called the local store but was really disappointed in the lack of service. The person didn't know what it was I was looking for even though I gave him the part # and then said someone else would have to call me back and that didn't happen. I won't shop at the store anymore, just online.
