The Dunlop ECB-004 18V DC Adapter is a quiet, well-regulated power supply that powers most effects pedals that run on 18 volts. With 500mA of current, the ECB-004 can even run power supplies such as the DC Brick. 2.1 mm by 5.5 mm positive barrel with negative center.

Note: Be sure to check the label on the power supply to ensure compatibility with your effects pedal. ECB-004 adapters manufactured before summer 2011 had a current rating of 150mA and are not compatible with the DC Brick. Newer ECB-004 manufactured summer 2011 or later, which are marked with a current rating of 1A (500mA), can safely be used with the DC Brick.

A power supply of high quality!

The power supply was a perfect complement to the Pigtronix Class A Boost, breathing new life into my 20-year old Marshall VS65R combo amp, providing both a loudness and tone/balance boost. The 18volts over 9 volts output I'm sure was significant. It has filled me with a new confidence and joy to play. Thank you.

Does the job

Bought this because my Slash wah requires two 9 volt batteries otherwise. It works, but feels very cheaply made, even for the Chinese. When I shake it I can hear something small rattling around inside. Also the wire is not very long.

    No, the Dunlop ECB-004 18V Adapter is not suitable for powering your Dunlop KH95 Kirk Hammett Cry Baby Wah Pedal. The KH95 is designed to operate on 9 volts DC, either from a 9V battery or a compatible 9V AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003. Using an 18V adapter like the ECB-004 could potentially damage the pedal.

    No, the Dunlop ECB-004 Barrel 18V Adapter is not suitable for your Mackie Mix8 mixer. The Dunlop adapter provides 18V DC power, whereas the Mackie Mix8 requires an 18V AC power supply. Using a DC adapter instead of the required AC adapter can potentially damage your mixer. The correct power supply for the Mackie Mix8 is an 18V AC, 600mA adapter: Mackie OEM 18V AC Adapter (Model 2045242-00): An original replacement part from Mackie, delivering 18V AC at 600mA, ensuring compatibility and reliability.     No, the Dunlop ECB-004 will NOT work with the Mackie Mix12FX mixer. Here’s why: It outputs 18V DC, while the Mackie requires 12V AC. The voltage and type (AC vs DC) are completely incompatible. Using it could damage your mixer.
