These convenient, light capos are simple to use and adjust. The strong elastic slides without having to be unfastened. For curved or flat steel six-string guitars.

Great Capo!

This capo works especially great on classical guitars. It does a great job of tightly pressing all the strings down, and the tone is great. The elastic also makes it easy to put the capo on and off the fretboard, and doesn't harm the guitar like some other capos. Awesome value!

Scratched neck

I play bass and have never had the need to use a capo. I wanted something to help me setting up the neck on a new bass. I thought this would be perfect and cheap. When I went to put it on, I noticed one of the rivits wasn't covered by the tail of the strap and would scratch the neck. I tried several time to get the tail to cover the exposed rivit with no success.

The capo is good objectively and works well as a cop and looks better than a regular quick switch capo. However it is rather tedious so it can/is going to take a bit to setup and remove. Overall it works well and sounds good for my small fender geetar. I would recommend but just note the downside s

The photo shows what loos like a metal piece on the underside. It's a faulty picture and should be replaced. There is no metal on the under-strap. This is the only kind of capo I've ever used, and now getting back to guitar, it's the capo I trust. The price makes it a no-brainer.

The grommets on the straps on all three capos were torn or split, and guite sharp. They would have scratched the guitar necks. I appreciated the prompt refund.

I see on this inexpensive Dunlop capo (which I have used successfully in the past) has an exposed rivet in the back that would scratch a guitar neck and one of the reviewers said that as well- why is there a rivet in the back that would contact the wood or is it just not adjusted correctly in the picture?

How do you put it on? (Be specific please!) Is it easier to use than more expensive capos?

It works in a similar fashion to a Belt. You put the plastic part across the fret, then wrap the strap around it and it clips like a belt buckle. It's about as easy to use as the clip-on style tuners but the benefit to this one is that if the player has a hard time opening and closing the clamp style capos this will be a lot easier on the hand. The only con i can think of is that it won't be as durable.
