Solution!

I have been using these for several years. If you are like me in any way, you know you left a pick next to the phone, or on the coffee table, and infact there is probably a pick laying somewhere on every piece of furnature in you home or studio! BUt darn it, that means leaving your session or plinking with your fingers until the song ends. The Dunlop Microphone Stand Pick Holder is the perfect solution to dropped picks. I have them place anywhere and everywhere They will grip... mic stands, cymbal stands... you name it. Its a great investment that keeps your picks handy, and it never wears out like the alternative, double sided tape, and it's a lot less messy. I think this item is a must for any guitar or bass player both in the studio and for live gigs.

Not for thinner picks.

The gap for the pick is wider than the acoustic picks that I use so they fall right out. It works fine for my electric guitar thicker picks. But even my medium thick picks fall out.

    It firmly holds all my pick gauges, from 1.0mm all the way down to 0.38mm on my upright mic stand. It will only hold thicker picks if I put it on my boom stand (boom had a thinner tube).
