Just What You Need

I was looking for these and was glad to have come across them on the Guitar Center website. It's rubber material grips picks just right and installs easily on mic stands (I also found it to work on some guitar stands as well), and the included glow in the dark slide holder is a nice feature also. The slide holder could be used for other items as long as the item is not too heavy to pull it out of place. If you don't want to use double-sided tape or shove picks under your pick guard, get one of these - they work well.

It works ok, but

The photo on this product is kind of misleading. you can't place picks at the top of it because the plastic piece that hold the slide goes into the channel for the picks about 3 inches. I also found that my thinner picks are pretty insecure in the slot. Medium to thick, no problem, but I use a wide variety of picks. Nevertheless, it's a pretty ingenious solution for holding your slide for this price. I'm going to try sawing off an inch of the support piece and see if that gives me a little more room. I'm leery about how it will hold picks, but I'll give it a shot.
