WORKHORSE STRINGS

First off , it seems the Dunlop name is pretty much an indicator . these strings are all around workhorses . I have yet to find anything that is a minus or demerit . Im on them for about 5 years now . just give them a tug when restringing . they will stay tuned and sound good . and last a good while too .

I have used strings from just about every manufacturer out there. Yes , they all have different qualities and characteristics. The reason I like the Dunlops is they are just really Good WORKHORSES! We can all argue or disagree but , for me and my playing ............ I like em. Once broken in , you can bend , drop tune , whatever you like. As I said , they're WORKHORSES. Thanks Guitar Center

First time user of Dunlop strings, but I've liked the products I've used and thought I'd give these a try after watching Gary Brawer's Les Paul restringing on YT. I tried his method and it's working fine. The strings stay in tune and were no problem to set in; a few pulls and that was it. Time will tell how long they hang onto their tone and excellent sustain, but the three-pack was priced fairly, and I like the way they sound. Give 'em a try if you're looking for something different to put on your axe.
Great new string company

Dunlop have come up with a very good string formula, they sit somewhere between Ernie Ball and Daddario in terms of characteristics. They have a great texture and feel, not too tight and not too loose. Very quick break in, only a few stretches and you are done. Package is well sealed and they feel awesome right out of the package. Sound is smooth, not as tinny and bright sounding as other strings, great low end, smooth mids, and balanced highs. Last about the same as other strings, but they don't get that rusty/cruddy feel like some strings do.
