Great Wah

For the simplest and cheapest Dunlop wah out on the market, this thing can hold its own against the higher end more advanced models. This pedal will do exactly what you expect, deliver great wah tones. In the treble position you can get a nice biting tone, and as you let up, you get a fuzzy yet focused sound. I've had this wah for 6 months and have had no problems with it, and have only replaced the battery once. If you unplug the pedal from your rig when you're not using it, the life is greatly increased. The pedal is also mad of some tough stuff, and i've had no problems with it after it's endured the trunk of the car in both the northern biting snow storms and the indiana sun. Overall, you really can't go wrong with this wah. It does exactly what you want from it, without spending the extra cash on the other models. Highly recommended.

It broke

I got the crybaby for Christmas, and it sounded great... for the first day that is. The next day, it broke! The button stopped clicking so i couldnt turn it on. I returned it to Guitar Center and they gave me a replacement, and the replacement was great too, but then about 1 week after that I had the same problem with the pedal not clicking. Also, I wasn't abusing the pedal. This is not a durable pedal at ALL, the only upside is that it sounds good.

First, this pedal IS durable. Of course if you treat it like an Irish Dance platform, it's gonna break. For the price, it has a great classic Wah sound. It should be place toward the beginning of the pedal chain for best response. Treat it right and it will treat you right.

Bought this pedal for my nephew who is somewhat a beginner but plays very well. He loves this pedal and it gives him the sound he was looking for when playing some 70's rock! Would definitely recommend!

  • Recommended but need to purchase power cord

This pedal does NOT come with the power cord. Great product, my son loves it, but you need to purchase the power cord separate. You can use a 9V battery instead of the power cord.

  • Definitely add this to your pedal collection

There are so many great rock songs that use a Wah wah pedal. It is so much fun to play around with.

Not, well. Your effect will sit all in the mid range. It doesn't like low notes. Most guitar units don't.

I would wait. You need to learn to play before you play with effects.
