Great little capo

I don't know what all the negative fuss is about this little thing. I had one of these for years and years and never had a problem with it. I will be buying a new one today since I've lost my old one.

Gets the Job done

This Dunlop Pro Curved capo does it's job, but when I put it on my guitar and adjust the capo to press all my strings down, I have to retune the guitar to the capo. Consequently, when I take the capo off, I have to retune the guitar again. If you don't mind spending a couple more dollars, I would highly suggest the Dunlop Trigger Capo. It fits right on the guitar and, from my experience, the guitar doesn't need to be retuned while using the capo, or after using the capo.

It is simple, compact and easy to use. I hope that it will be durable. It does look flimsy.

Forget the naysayers! I'm still using this same capo I bought in the 70's, and I've never had a lick of trouble. I always worried about breaking the plastic handle, but treat it gently, and it will last forever.

  • I would buy this product again.

A good deal for someone looking to try out a capo, but not wanting to spend a whole lot.

  • Not as well made as 40 years ago.

Bought this same capo 40 years ago and it is still in good condition. I bought this one for another guitar but it is very cheaply made. Still keeping it. Will also buy the upgrade model to see if it is better. My favorite thing is how it is small and does not interfere with your hand on the frets.

As a professional guitar player I've used this capo for well over 20 years. I play Martin guitars and never have had any problems of them going out of tune as some complain of. This capo is easy to put on, quick to take off, easy to stick in my pocket or guitar case, and most important doesn't get in the way of my hand like most other capos. I use a Samson mic stand and it has a little built in thing to hold a pick. I find this capo fits it exactly. Great for on stage. Like everything else, these wear out and get loose, but they are usually good for a few years with heavy use and are very cheap to replace. I have tried every kind of capo known to man but keep coming back to this one.

I bought this capo because of its size and it's easy to store. It's a great little thing, it's gentle on the paint, and does what it needs to do. Great capo for the price. I highly recommend it.
