    I bought this to use for expression pedal #3 on my line 6 Helix. First, I had to open it up and flip the little blue switch inside. That fixed the problem where it went from min to max and back to min all in the heel to toe stroke. Then i had invert the operation in the helix programming (heel position gives 100% and toe position gives 0% from the helix point of view) After doing that, it works perfect!

    The person who gave it two stars doesn't know they make a smaller version of this already small volume pedal and yes you CAN use jacks on either side. So don't listen to him. The internal controls allow for precise and accurate volume swells and the overall durability of the pedal is great. The only issue is the angle of the pedal in push back position as it sits a bit high otherwise I have no complaints at all.
