The ESP Gary Holt Signature EC electric guitar has an impressive finish that immediately catches the eye. ESP calls it Liquid Metal Lava. Holt calls it coagulated blood. A tattoo-style banner on the back of the headstock discreetly displays Holt's signature. The top is bound in red that glows orange under blue lighting while the ebony fretboard sports glow-in-the-dark side dots. The neck is Les Paul scale at 24.75", and electronics include active EMGs in the classic configuration of an 89R at the neck for single-coil-type sounds and an 81 at the bridge. The sound is amazing.

The Gary Holt Signature EC electric guitar comes with hardshell case.

About Gary Holt

Known as the godfather of thrash metal, Gary Holt joined Exodus in 1981 and played in that band's early days alongside his then-bandmate Kirk Hammett. Over the subsequent 30+ years, Gary has played on every Exodus album. In 2011, his unmistakable super aggressive playing style made him the ideal choice as the second guitarist in Slayer, and he continues to play in both bands.

"My new ESP LTD signature guitars are exactly what I've dreamed of for my entire playing life. Tone, shredding playability and stunning looks. And did I mention crushing tone? All around badass in every way, designed for delivering riffs and solos like a kick to the head." - Gary Holt.

I bought this guitar recently and can't find a single thing wrong with it. It sounds better than any other guitar I have ever played, the finish is nicer than any guitar I have ever seen, and it feels great. If you have the money go for it, you won't be dissapointed.
