    Quite simply an amazing guitar all around. I've had mine for a little over a year now and it is yet to let me down. ESP has went above and beyond in the LTD lineup for the past few years. On top of the excellent build quality, the purple is an extreme eye catcher.

    I'm a Les Paul guy through and through and play everything from clean jazz to blues based classic rock and metal. I've never owned a guitar with active pickups and since I love Kirk Hammett and purple I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm unbelievably impressed! Perfect setup right out of the box, in perfect tune. Stock strings are D'addario 9-42s and while I planned to swap to my standard Ernie Ball 10-46s, I'm leaving it as is for now. My tech at GC in Canton, Michigan said the setup was perfect out of the box and didn't (wouldn't) touch it. I played it through a Marshall JVM 210c for about an hour in the store and tore it up. Absolutely killer with low action, fast neck, great balance, and hot pickups. Also sounds amazing on clean channel and neck pickup especially on high notes. I'm picky (my tech acknowledges my OCD), and this guitar is perfect. And did I mention the purple sparkle is KILLER???

    This guitar should be available in 2 to 3 weeks. It does come with a hardshell case included.
