I have this guitar in white. I've never been a fan of white guitars until I bought this one! I love the tele body shape and hate the headstock, And I prefer humbucker, I saw this and it screamed buy me. The pickups are Hot to say the least. most of my playing is clean of just pass breakup... I lowered both HBs as low as they would go, in this position they will scream when you dig in! Now then for the coil splitting, I've own two other guitars with coil splitting, and they were a joke, however these surprisingly hit a bulls eye! All this is purely MO, tone is subjective no matter the brand or EQ settings, I played this guitar through a reverb deluxe 22 watts 6v6s, a bugera v55 6l6s and a DV Mark dv 40 watt el34s and I adjusted the tone on my guitar to get the tone I wanted! (this thing is a beast with el34). this concidered an entry level axe. So for all you future head baggers, chuggers or hard rockers, this will fill any of those genres!
