    The first amp had poping sounds great when turned on. We returned it. The second has clicking noises. Otherwise for the price the amp delivers a good sound for practicing the violin.

    Good practice amp for electric fiddle. Tried to use it with a mic and it was pretty useless. Sounds OK with fiddle. Needs pre-amp. Really nothing special in spite of the Woods name. I have used other small amps that were as good or better.

    It will work on any electric violins that have a 1/4" input.
