    I purchased 2 of these, it's a good thing I did... the first one stopped working after a few uses. It registers a "B" note as an A . . . I tried adjusting the settings, it just doesn't work. Besides, there are too many confusing settings on this thing.. I just want a tuner for guitar that works, I don't care about chromatic, ukuleles, A440 or different pitch reference, etc . . . I opened the other one (never used) and it does work. But I've had other tuners that lasted a lot longer, until the plastic just broke. The electronics never gave up. I would not purchase this again.

    Out of the box you put the battery in and its ready to go. Really easy to use. Easy to select how you want to tune as well. I have always enjoyed Electroharmonix products and have yet to find a reason to complain about anything of theirs.
