Electro-Harmonix

collapse expand iconDescription

The EHX Cock Fight Plus offers up the award-winning tone of the original Cock Fight in a rugged, lightweight pedal and with a traditional rack and pinion style operating mechanism. It contains two different expressive filters: a traditional wah pedal filter and a formant filter used for vowel sounds. The Cock Fight also features a lively fuzz section that can be added before or after the filter section, or taken out of the signal path completely.

collapse expand iconFeatures

  • Great wah and talking pedal sounds
  • Like getting three pedals in one: crying wah + talking wah plus a classic fuzz
  • Use with or w/out the fuzz. Place the fuzz before the filter for a vintage vibe or after for a more modern sound
  • Adjustable bias control takes the fuzz from “normal” to a classic “dying battery” sound

One of the worst wah pedals I've ever used before. The sound quality is that great and the effects are just too much. When it came to the night of my gig the wah pedal made a repetitive popping noise and I used the wah pedal one other time before the show.

Broke right away. It can't handle normal use. The switch broke, no sound at all. Dead after 2 months. Could not return due to store closure issues.

Product does not work, at all, with batteries or adapter pedal can not be depressed far enough to activate the cheap and loud switch and even switching it on and off manually does nothing. Guitar center is completely useless in resolving the matter as they won't exchange faulty gear. They make you pay to ship it back to them and won't even send a replacement. They make you wait until you've been refunded and then you have to place the order again. NOPE! Not doing your job for you. That's the end of my relationship with guitar center. No wonder they're going under.

Great pedal, incredible sound but if electro harmonix made a heavy duty version even if the cost was higher I would buy it. My only complaints are How lightweight the product is and also the location of the AC adapter, it seems to get in the way. The location of the output could be better as well, I like to use an L Shaped cord and gets in the way of the toggle switches. I love this pedal but if you ever make a 2.0 version I'll buy it again.

I bought this pedal sometime ago and the fires pre-and post switch never worked. I discovered this after the 45 Day Guitar Center warranty expired. EH has not responded to my multiple attempts to get the product fixed. Save your money. Do not buy this pedal. If you do, get the extended warranty. You will need it.
