Electro-Voice ELX200-10P 10" Portable Powered Loudspeaker

I already had the 12" sub that matches, but was using another brand speaker on it. This one is definitely better output and can match with the crossover settings on the sub. I was able to use my rewards points to help with the cost as these are pricy, but very much worth it IMO. #sweepstakes

I have had a pair of the ELX200-12P speakers for a couple of years but used them primarily as stage monitors. I recently installed these speakers as my mains replacing a pair of DSR115 and was very impressed with the sound quality and the power the ELX200-12P speakers produce. I added two ELX200-10P speakers as monitors and was very pleased. I love the EQ settings that allow you to customize your speaker/sound. I have used/listened to a range of brands and EV is now my favorite brand. I highly recommend the ELX200-10P speakers and EV speakers in general.

I use these with an EV ELX200-12SP either connected to the sub as a full range system or as tops with an Aux-fed sub (my preference) and I'm very happy with the performance and sound. Relatively lightweight and made well, my bandmate has a pair he's had for a few years and they hold up very well to frequent use. I think the EV ELX line is a great affordable choice.

I already own Electro Voice active PA speakers. I was looking for something smaller and lighter than the LiveX112 speakers. The ELX200-10P was a perfect match. The build quality for a plastic speaker is excellent. It's compact yet is very powerful, loud and clear. I match them up with two EKX-15SP subwoofers. They work well together.

I already own the LiveX112 powered PA speakers and the EKX-15SP powered subwoofers. I've been looking for a more compact powered PA speaker for easier transport and decided on the ELX200-10P. Even though they are plastic instead of wood, they are built very well. The plastic is a textured matte finish with rubberized handles on top and side for easy carry. From a sound perspective they easily keep up with the older LiveX112P speakers. Using them in Club mode, full range, 0db configuration the sound was rich, full and warm. My second option was the the ZLX-12P but they are almost the same size as the LiveX112P. Third option was QSC K10.2 but those much more expensive and a bit brighter on the mids and highs than I prefer.

This thing rocks and its light. I have a pair sitting on the 12sp and they put out some clean sound. This is the perfect wedding set up small venue. With 2 subs and 2 tops you can easily do a 400 person gig. It was between this and the evolve 30s. I have an evolve 50 and sound wise and loudness this pair beats it. Yes there is more to carry but this is compact and with a threaded speaker pole the set up looks really clean. For the price it is hard to beat this.
