Description
The ND76 Dynamic Cardioid Vocal Microphone from Electro-Voice is designed specifically for vocalists who need power, clarity and feedback resistance on stage. At its heart is a large-diaphragm dynamic capsule that captures vocals with striking detail and a robust low end.
Large-Diaphragm Capsule Delivers Full-Bodied Sound
The ND76's large-diaphragm dynamic capsule is precisely tuned to reproduce the natural qualities of the human voice. It captures vocals with a rich, complex tone and impactful low end that cuts through even the densest mixes. This full-bodied sound gives vocalists the support and depth they need to connect with audiences during live shows.
Superior Isolation and High Gain Before Feedback
With its tight cardioid polar pattern and shock-mounted capsule, the ND76 provides excellent isolation from ambient noise and feedback. Its high gain before feedback allows vocalists to push the volume without encountering squeals, even when performing close to floor wedges or speaker cabinets. This gives vocalists the freedom to move around the stage without compromising their sound.
Low Noise and Durable Construction
The ND76's shock-mounted capsule and humbucking coil work together to minimize handling noise and electromagnetic interference. Its dent-resistant Memraflex grille can withstand even the roughest treatment, ensuring years of reliable performance. This rugged yet refined construction makes the ND76 a microphone that can keep up with the demands of touring and live shows.
An All-Purpose Tool for Vocalists
With its powerful, articulate sound and robust build, the Electro-Voice ND76 is an all-purpose microphone for vocalists of any genre. It has the versatility and durability to handle lead vocals, backing vocals, speeches and more. For vocalists seeking a high-performance mic they can depend on for any live application, the ND76 delivers.

I just bought this mic and compared it to a SM58 with my mixer and headphones. It has the same tone as the 58 but is noticeably louder. This is what I was expecting. A fellow musician had an older model and it had more output the the rest of the 58s we used. Even the beta 58 was not as loud. I had to turn down the gain on the mixer to match the other mics. The handling noise is quiet as well. The screen looks flimsy compared to the 58 but they say it can flex and still keep its shape. Time will tell. The body size is very similar to other mics and fits in to your standard mic clip. I may have to buy another one just to have a matched pair.
Clear as can be.Great vocal microphone.
