The Electro-Voice RE27N/D is a dynamic cardioid multipurpose microphone that delivers studio-quality condenser performance from a self-generating dynamic transducer. It has a switch-selected EQ; internal shock, pop, and wind protection; and exceptional sensitivity for high signal-to-noise ratio. Wide-range uniform frequency response: 45Hz-20kHz. Electro-Voice 309-A Shock Mount
The Electro-Voice 309A suspension shock mount provides near-perfect shock isolation for already internally shock mounted microphones. For most applications, the Model 309A may be attached directly to the recording boom or to a floor stand. The 309A mount design allows quick installation of the RE20, RE27N/D, or RE320 microphone. No tools are required to install. A double safety factor is provided to ensure that the microphone will remain attached to the shock mount under any conditions. Four molded neoprene shock cords suspend and support the microphone within an aluminum and steel frame-work to effectively isolate it from mechanical shock and vibration.
