Description
So choose the same premium electric guitar strings that experienced players worldwide trust to keep their incredible tone longer than any other string available. Unlike other string brands, Elixir Strings coats the whole string. This protects not only the outer string surface but also the gaps between the windings where common tone-deadening gunk typically builds up in other brands’ coated and uncoated guitar strings. Anti-Rust Plating on plain steel strings ensures longer tone life for the entire set.
Who wouldn’t love more quality playing time between the hassle and cost of string changes?
For a slicker, gentler feel, try a set of electric guitar strings with their POLYWEB Coating, which also feature our warmest tone. Meanwhile, their NANOWEB coated strings sound bright and feel smooth, striking a dynamic balance between POLYWEB Coating and OPTIWEB Coating.

I have used 10/46 in the past. I installed these to my Gretsch 2420ABB six weeks ago. I am still not use to them and it is too early to say whether I like the 11/49 or 10/46 better. Time will tell.
Durable (as usual) and a tiny bit brighter than Nanoweb.

I really like Elixir strings. I don't fell the coating muting the strings, and also those Optiweb models sound a tiny small bit more bright than the Nanoweb models. Finally, Elixir are long-lasting and consistent strings - I use then on my guitars for about 12 years.
