Elixir

collapse expand iconDescription

The Elixir Light Nanoweb acoustic guitar strings bring you premium tone and playing experience in an innovative ultra-light gage. Using cutting-edge Nanoweb technology, these strings deliver the bright, punchy tone acoustic players crave while protecting against corrosion and buildup.

Nanoweb Coating Prevents Corrosion and Enhances Tone

Elixir's groundbreaking Nanoweb coating is applied to the entire string, allowing them to slide smoothly across the frets while preventing oxidation. This ultra-thin coating keeps your strings sounding fresh for longer than uncoated strings. The lively, textured tone from the phosphor bronze wrap wire is balanced with the warmth of an 80/20 bronze core, giving your acoustic a crisp, vibrant voice.

Ultra-Light Gage For Extra Playability

The 0.012" gage of these Elixir Light Nanoweb strings provides a slinky feel under your fingers, reducing fatigue over long practice sessions or shows. The lighter tension also allows easier bending and fretting, ideal for acoustic players with a lighter touch. Despite the light gage, these strings still produce a balanced, full tone with plenty of projection.

Trusted Brand, Premium Quality

As leaders in string innovation for over 20 years, Elixir is a name you can trust for high-quality, long-lasting tone. These Elixir Light Nanoweb strings are precision-engineered in the USA to exacting standards, providing guitarists a premium playing experience and sound. With a tone and feel as natural as traditional uncoated strings but with much longer lifespan, these strings deliver the best of both worlds.

They sound great through the pickups or open air. They sound brighter for longer than they probably should, I tend to keep them on for too long.

I've used these strings for a long time. They often have lasted a year with daily play. The "new" feel on them is there for almost as long as the life of the strings themselves. In my opinion, there is no other string that you should ever buy.
