Strum confidently with the same premium acoustic guitar strings that experienced players worldwide trust to keep their incredible tone longer than any other string available.

Unlike other string brands, Elixir Strings coats the whole string. This protects not only the outer string surface but also the gaps between the windings where common tone-deadening gunk typically builds up in other brands’ coated and uncoated guitar strings. Anti-Rust Plating on plain steel strings ensures longer tone life for the entire set.

Who wouldn’t love more quality playing time between the hassle and cost of string changes?

Engineered to endure, these acoustic strings constructed with phosphor bronze wrap wire boast a dynamic balance of rich, full-bodied tone and sparkling high-end clarity. Compared to their original POLYWEB coating, the ultrathin NANOWEB coating allows a more traditionally textured, “uncoated” feel.

For a slicker, gentler feel, try a set of strings with their original POLYWEB coating. The 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings with POLYWEB Coating, for example, might be a good fit if you want a more robust and rounded tone. On the other end of the tone spectrum, Elixir's 80/20 Bronze acoustic guitar strings with NANOWEB coating deliver a brighter, crisper tone alongside the same traditional feel as these phosphor bronze strings.

Of course, the kind of string you play is all a matter of personal preference. Not sure what tone or feel is right for you? Try them out for yourself, and find your new favorite string from Elixir Strings. Jam on and on (and on) with the same premium electric bass guitar strings that experienced players worldwide trust to keep their incredible tone longer than any other string available.

Specially developed based on in-depth feedback from more than a thousand bass players just like you, Elixir Strings' tailor-made selection of bass strings proudly includes nickel-plated and stainless steel construction options, four-, five- and six-string sets, long and extra-long scales, and virtually every gauge range you could possibly need. All with their innovative string coating technology. And unlike other string brands, Elixir Strings coats the whole string. This protects not only the outer string surface but also the gaps between the windings where common tone-deadening gunk typically builds up in other brands’ coated and uncoated guitar strings.

Who wouldn’t love more quality playing time between the hassle and cost of string changes?

Premium by design, these electric bass guitar strings constructed with nickel-plated steel wrap wire boast a rich, rounded tone with incredible clarity and a heavy mid-range presence. Meanwhile, the ultra-thin NANOWEB coating, redesigned specifically for bass guitars, allows a smooth, natural feel that also enhances grip and reduces finger squeak.

For a brighter bass tone, try their stainless steel bass strings with NANOWEB coating.

Of course, the kind of string you play is all a matter of personal preference. Not sure what tone is right for you? Try them out for yourself, and find your new favorite string from Elixir Strings.

Lives up to it's billing - great tone that lasts

I tried about 6 or 7 types of acoustic strings before trying these, and my search is over. I put the Elixir's on 3 months ago and they still sound great (averaging around 8 hours of play time per week). The relative tone and feel after 3 months of playing is markedly better than all the other strings I've tried - both coated and un-coated. The overall tone is great. Note that these are the Nanowebs - I tried the Polywebs and didn't like the feel and tone of the Polys.

I have used these Elixir strings on my several different guitar brands and have been very satisfied with the sound, play ability and lifespan of these strings on all of my guitars. Expensive but Great product

With how much I play a day the most annoying part is how often id have to restring my guitar using other brands of strings. With elixir brand strings that timeline has doubled. I'm was also notoriously bad at changing them and good at breaking them, until I switched to elixir!

  • I always come back to elixir!!!

I'm always trying out different or new strings for my Taylor but I have still yet to find better playing, sounding, and lasting strings than these elixir strings! They can last months if you don't play too often and sound great now matter how long they've been sitting. You cannot go wrong!

  • My go to strings

As I stated in another review I would definitely buy these again. They sound amazing and feel great on my fingers. A great string that is great for how much you pay for them.
