Investment

I ordered my 335 Hardshell case through Guitarcenter.com. It arrived after only 3 days and the shipping was free. Although an Epiphone DOT is lower priced guitar as guitars go, the quality and the finish are outstanding. So i wanted to protect my investment. The 335 hardcase is excellent. Beautiful plush inside, that fits my DOT like a glove. Goodlooking outside case, and the latch system is topnotch. I like the case so much i just ordered the same case for my Les Paul Standard.

Functional case

Good, but not a great case - definitely not as good as my Gibson cases, which are made in Canada (these ones are Asian made), but very functional at a lot less cost, I'd imagine. Fits my Ephiphone Gary Clark Blak & Blu Casino very well, so I'm assuming it will do the same for any ES 335 shaped models of similar dimension. There is bunching in the interior lining where it isn't fitted and glued quite as well as it could be, but this is a relatively minor thing. Overall, a solid purchase.

I bought the Epiphone 335 Hardshell Case for my Epiphone Casino, and it's everything I hoped for. The fit is perfect—snug and secure, with no wobble or movement inside. The plush interior cradles the guitar beautifully, and the neck support adds real peace of mind for transport. Build quality is excellent. The exterior tolex is durable and stylish, and the latches are solid with a satisfying click. The handle feels sturdy and balanced, making it easy to carry. I also love the classic Epiphone badge on the case—it gives off a nice vintage vibe. What really impressed me is the weight-to-protection ratio—it's not overly heavy, yet it feels like it could take a decent knock without risking the guitar. The internal compartment is big enough for a strap, extra strings, and a tuner, which is all I need. #sweepstakes

I purchased the case for an Epiphone Sheraton II, which did fit in the case However the interior lining of the case was coming apart from the exterior. Also, after removing the guitar from the case to check the initial fit, I noticed that it left glue on the guitar. This was shipped directly to the store and I took it home in its original packaging. So it's not like it was a used case. Returning it asap.

Purchased this for an Epiphone Casino I purchased used several years before. Fits great and is everything you'd expect in a quality hard shell case. #sweepstakes

I would not put it on a plane out of my hand but it is great for truck and local hauls. Mine has a dark gray interior with a few modings to hug the body pretty well. Attractive and sturdy. The latches and such are stout and relatively nice, not cheap. The outter shell is mordrd simally to the body giving an outside view of what you may be carrying..... a 335. The case is attractive throughout, no doubt. There is a plastic lip around the opening but it has a somewhat rubber finish and is very strong, more so than you can believe and not distracting in quality - a sharp knife would be challenged. Overall, I would grade the case an 83. The only improvement I can see that could be made is upgrading the shell for an airline carry.

I crunched the handle off of my old case, which was by a different brand, and had been purchased 14 years ago at the same time as the Riviera.. I searched online, and a different retailer offered their services for a backorder, but when I called Guitar Center I was met with an agent who led to the perfect fitting case I had been looking for. This is perfect for this guitar, and has a special little notch in the bottom inside for the tail of the BIgsby. The case is well constructed, locks, and is balanced with a guitar inside. Glad I called here.

No, the Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case is not a suitable fit for an early '70s Epiphone ET-270. The ET-270 features a solid-body, offset double-cutaway design, which differs significantly from the semi-hollow, symmetrical body shape of 335-style guitars.
