The Epiphone ES-335 Figured with Gibson USA Pickups semi-hollow electric guitar blends classic looks with modern reliability and a standout voice. Inspired by the legendary ES-335, this semi-hollow body instrument features a flame maple veneer top and back, matched to a solid maple center block for added sustain and feedback resistance. Players immediately notice the smooth action and comfortable rounded C neck profile, making it a pleasure to play up and down the fretboard. The included Gibson USA T-Type humbuckers give the ES-335 Figured a distinctive, articulate tone and a unique sonic edge.

Gibson USA T-Type Humbuckers Deliver Vintage-Inspired Tone

Loaded with Gibson USA T-Type humbuckers, this guitar produces tight, dynamic tones with clear highs and punchy lows. These pickups use traditional construction methods and precise winding patterns, echoing the iconic 1970s Gibson sound. When you dig in, the bridge pickup cuts through with crisp articulation, while the neck position brings out a smooth, rich character. CTS potentiometers provide precise volume and tone control, letting you fine-tune your sound on the fly. The result is a pickup system that captures every nuance of your playing and responds with clarity.

Epiphone ES-335 Figured With Grover Rotomatic Tuners Provides Reliable Tuning Stability

This semi-hollow electric guitar features Grover Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech NuBone nut, keeping tuning consistent even after repeated bends and heavy playing sessions. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece lock the hardware in place, preventing slipping and improving sustain. Players benefit from quick, accurate tuning and less time spent on adjustments. The instrument's onboard controls—two volume and two tone knobs—are equipped with CTS potentiometers for smooth, predictable response every time you play.

Controls and Layout Streamline Performance Adjustments

The ES-335's control layout is straightforward, offering two dedicated volume and two tone knobs, with black top hat knobs for easy grip. Switch quickly between pickups using the three-way selector positioned for fast access. This setup makes it easy to shape your tone on stage or during practice without losing focus. The neck's rounded C profile and Indian laurel fretboard support comfortable playing, while dot inlays help you navigate the fingerboard efficiently.

Durable Maple Construction Withstands Regular Use

The Epiphone ES-335 Figured With Gibson USA Pickups is built from layered maple with AAA flame veneer on the top and back, plus single-ply cream binding for added structural integrity. The solid maple center block increases sustain and minimizes unwanted feedback, making the instrument roadworthy and dependable. Nickel hardware resists corrosion, and the included gig bag protects the guitar during transit. This construction helps the instrument maintain its looks and sound, even after years of frequent use.

It's a good guitar, sounds great but the color is much darker in person. If you google "Chevy dark candy red" and look at the images it looks kinda like that. The fretboard also looked a touch lighter/dry, but after using a dye and conditioner the fretboard plays great, which is the most important part. Tuning stability, hardware, and everything else are peak and great for the money.

I was in Denver visiting my son when I decided to spend some free time at a Guitar Center. I wasn't especially looking for a guitar, but this one caught my eye, so I took it for a test drive. Right from the beginning it felt good, and it gave forth great tones. I must have played it for an hour. The fit and finish was top notch, and the flame - subtle but gorgeous - was on the top, back, and also on the sides. The tuners are Epiphone Deluxe and they hold there tuning very well. At the time, there were no specs that I could find, and the salespeople didn't have them either, so I left without the guitar. What I had experienced with that guitar kept going through my mind, so two days later I went back and confirmed everything I experienced with this 335. I couldn't find out what pickups were in it, so I hesitated. In the end, I decided that whatever pickups were in it were amazing, so I left with it feeling good about the purchase. I did contact Epiphone, and after sending them pictures of this guitar, they sent me the full specs, and I found out that the Gibson pickups were 57 Classics. Then and there I knew I had made a great decision. I have found it hard to put down ever since I first started playing it in the store!

I was looking for a second Epiphone 335 as I like them a lot, but some are better than others. I already own the Epi 335 Pro with the Alnico Pro pickups. I want a second one to have for gigging, rehearsals and for at- home practicing so I don't put all the wear and tear on one guitar. I played many 335's, Epiphones and Gibsons to learn and experience them all. This model was the best Epiphone I had tried. I only played one of these and was all set to buy it when I found a Gibson 335 on sale. If not for that Gibson, I would have gladly purchased this one. The Epi I played had Gibson Classic 57 pickups in it. They are slightly better than the Alnico Pro pickups, but either pickup gives me the sound I want in a 335 guitar.

Bought this guitar as an entry into the 335 style and was very happy with it. The Gibson 57 Classics sound pretty good and the guitar itself was built and finished well overall. A little heavier than I would have imagined, but a solid instrument. Tuners were decent although I would have probably switched to locking tuners as a personal preference
