Favorite Acoustic Strings

I have been playing guitar for 4 years now and have been using these strings for 3. They sound awesome whatever genre you play and guitar you play. These strings sound clear, bright, and bring out that woody tone in my guitar, they last long provide great volume and great bends, I use these on my acoustic and electric acoustic and trust me people at shows tell me my guitar sounds awesome and clean. I got all my friends hooked on em and once you try them so will you. Not just do they sound amazing 5 particularly think they smell good when you open em HAHA!

Not bad but not great

I've been playing guitar for 7 years now and for the past two years, I've been using the same Elixirs because they just lasted me that long with good sound. The last month or so though, the sound started to become dull and my strings were really starting to become dark so I told myself I'll try something new for the New Years so I went with these strings. First impression is that they feel so cheap compared to the Elixirs. (Yeah, I know it's three times cheaper too) They squeak a lot when sliding. The strings feel dry. The sound is just mediocre as well. At least they don't sound dull. I play them on my Fender. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. Going back to Elixirs once a string pops or they become dull. I guess they're good for practice strings.

These strings feel and sound straight out of the box like the guitar is WAY overdue for a string change. I'm a finger style player which doesn't work AT ALL but even with a pick I've never heard such a dead lifeless sound from a new string. The custom lights tuned so aggressively that the action doubled and nearly caused a bow in the neck. Horrible product!

They are pretty decent strings, not the greatest, but you can't beat them for the price.
