    These sound so much better than 10s. If you have a 7string that's already a longer scale than normal (mine is 26.5"), then these are what you want for anything step down or above. 10s, which came on my guitar, just mute down so much of the tone. Don't make the mistake of bigger is better. Too much tension deadens your tone. Whatever your tuning, you have to find a balance between keeping your tension and keeping your tone, and these are it on a schecter.

    These strings are really good, unless you like to play songs taht require to drop tuning your guitar lower than D standard. After de-tuning and retuning your gutiar they start to break, but overall a good string.
