Awesome Strings

I have tried a lot of differnet bass strings in my many years of playing and I keep coming back to the Ernie's regulars. I use them on a Yamaha TRBL5-II and they make for a very clean and punchy sound. I play Praise music for a rather large church and the sound I get from these strings is big and powerful.I highly recommend them to any player who wants a lot of bang for their buck!

My favorite strings

This set was dusty and may have been old since they weren't as bright as usual. Disappointing.

I used other brands for years. Here's to my ears why I switched. The low B sounds matched with the other 4 strings not floppy or mushy. Now that I I get to play at much louder levels. With other strings I used, the B I could tell wasn't as tight sounding at louder levels. Now there are other strings to me that sound great, the availability of the shiny green package is always in stock at GC. I walk in, I walk out with strings.

  • Great Product for the price!
