#sweepstakes After two years and three sets, these are still my favorite roundwound strings. Hyper Slinky strings are light and comfortable, but not thin or flimsy. They handle half-step down and drop-D tuning very well, too. I've had no quality control issues at all.

My first time playing lights, and I'm not disappointed. They feel great, not so light they feel like guitar strings. I love the full punchy tone these strings produce, and they aren't too harsh or raspy at all.

I used DAddario' for years. Switched to EB for guitar over GHS. Played w EB std. bass strings(pink) for a while. Basses used are Rickenbacker, Fender Jazz, & Sterling Stingray 5. I REALLY like these "Hyper Slinky's" on the Rickenbacker (preferred studio bass). The balance of that particular gauge combination, sounds great.
