Worth the money

I was searching for electric string winders and I've learned that there was a powerpeg winder from Ernie ball. I didn't get the chance to use the normal powerpeg one, but I just decided to order this one instead since it didn't require any batteries. When it arrived, it was already charged, so it was good to go right away, and it was exactly how I expected. It spins well, light, what more is there to it? It comes with a charger so you just have to plug it in when you want to charge it. I replaced my strings only couple of weeks ago so I have to wait until I get the chance use it, but I think it would save me a lot of time and work.

I wouldn't suggest this one

They call it a pro winder. It only lasted about 3 months with home use. I charged it regularly. The other day it just stopped charging. I contacted Ernie Ball and they wanted me to pay shipping to send it to them during COVID-19. You're better off buying an electric screwdriver and winder bit.

It doesn't work on my mandolin. The tuning knobs are too small. Should have an insert for smaller tuning knobs.
