GREAT TOOL - IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING
I've been using this tool for three months and it is really great. Every 2 to 3 months I change strings for my guitars and basses and it used to be a long process ۡ 30min to 1 hr. With this you can change them in a moment ۡ clock in hand 12 min. Nevertheless the principles to change strings remain; if you stress a string too much it will break for sure, if you do not constantly bend it during the process it may break or will lose the tone faster, you wind strings counter-clockwise specially remember this in a 3x3 arrangement or you will break some (thatۡs why it has reverse), etc. This is not a toy neither an industrial tool, it serves for what is meant and is definitively a must if you regularly change strings to your gear.

Ernie Ball Power Peg Battery Powered String Winder
I am happy with my purchase of the Ernie Ball Peg Battery powered string winder. Reason being that I have 5 guitars. 2 Strats a Telecaster and a Les Paul and a Gibson ES 335. I use all of these guitars at one time or another and I like the sound of new strings. The power winder makes changing out broken strings on the fly very do-able. It also cuts down on time to re string my main guitars for gigs. The only concern is that it is battery powered and seems to have a little less torque than I would like. Also, I am concerned about how much punishment it may be able to take. I will be curious as to how long it will last before it has to be replaced. Other than that, it is everything Ernie Ball says it is...

The Ernie Ball power tuner-turner feels good in the hand. This guitar player's "must" has a very manageable trigger to control the speed, and the weight is easy for most hands. I believe the Ernie Ball tuner-turner alleviates premature tuner wear when changing strings. This cordless power tool is steadier than any manual crank-style tuner turner I've experienced, bearings or not. Very Affordable!

Saves a ton of time and makes string changing much easier and less annoying. A must have unless your have a cordless drill with a but meant for turning tuners.

Works like intended. Be mindful of how much tension you put on the sting though. Easy to go to tight.
