Wife now works at home. I have Gigs coming up and need to practice. I use Sound Off all over my kit and can practice anytime. Evans need to make a model for double kick pedals
No. There are other muts available.

It certainly mutes the sound of the cymbals. However, it deadens the feel.

I was hoping to avoid using ear protection by muffling my drums and cymbals, but the cymbals still sound really loud with these mutes on (and yes, I'm hitting the rubber part when I play). The main difference is that they don't ring out after you hit them, just a loud (and unpleasant) metallic thunk. I'm really not sure if they help protect your ears at all, but I wear muffs when I play my "muted" cymbals. Wish I had a solution that didn't involve expensive Zildjians or electronic drums.
