    For the price...good deal the Puresound snares is good the mounting process requires some finesse.

    I rebuilt a 1970 Blue Sparkle Stewart Snare, I used this pack. I need both top and bottom for the snare and the snare is for my collection but I wanted it to sound good. With the tuning key this is a deal. The drum sounds good I was surprised cause I like a really dry head but plenty of tone with out a ring. I was shocked, The snare gives it a good snap. I wished I had bought this pack for the other two snares I cleaned up. It is a good back up if you need one.
