Fender Custom Shop '60s Rosewood Telecaster Closet Classic Electric Guitar Natural

Description
The Fender Custom Shop '60s Rosewood Telecaster Closet Classic electric guitars brings you an incredibly accurate recreation of one of Fender's rarest and most coveted models. Meticulously built with a chambered rosewood body, rosewood neck and handwound pickups, it authentically channels the rich, warm tone that made the original so legendary. Whether you play blues, rock or country, this rosewood Tele will inspire you with its classic vibe and voice.
Rosewood Resonance With a Lightweight Build
The solid Indian rosewood body serves up tone that's both earthy and articulate. Rosewood's tight grain pattern helps notes bloom with a full midrange and smooth high end. A chambered maple center eliminates uncomfortable weight while enhancing resonance and sustain. You're getting the best of both worlds—a lively, responsive tonewood with a lightweight, easy-to-play design ideal for long sets on the stage or in the studio.
A Soulful Rosewood Neck Built for Expression
The vintage-spec rosewood neck profile feels instantly familiar in your hand. Its rounded '60s C-shape and narrow 9 mm fingerboard allow your fingers to effortlessly wrap around the strings for fluid soloing and chord work. From the slender .575" headstock to the 7.25" radius and narrow dot spacing, every dimension recreates the essence of a '60s Tele built for uninhibited musical expression. The satin nitrocellulose finish enhances the tactile response while allowing the rosewood to breathe and age gracefully over years of playing.
Handwound Pickups Recapture Vintage Magic
Twisted Tele pickups were a signature feature of the '60s rosewood Tele. These handwound, custom-spec'd pickups precisely replicate the gritty, bell-like tones that Fender's '60s classics were prized for. The bridge pickup serves up searing twang with just the right amount of growl for overdriven leads. Dial in the neck pickup for a rich, buttery clean tone perfect for jazz and blues. With the Twisted Tele pickups, you're getting the full vintage Telecaster experience.
Vintage-Spec Hardware for Authentic Tone Transfer
Details make all the difference in an instrument's tone and feel. That's why the Fender Custom Shop went to great lengths to recreate the classic '67 Tele bridge assembly and saddles. You'll feel and hear the difference as every note resonates through the rosewood body with clarity and sustain. Other vintage-correct appointments include the modern Tele control assembly, vintage-style tuners and nylon-string guide.

I always loved the tone of this guitar…it's very snappy and articulate. It took a while for me to adjust the truss rod properly, since it's a heel adjustment model, but once I did, I was able to set the action perfectly. This resulted in he tone and the feel of the instrument finally coming together in perfect harmony. This is easily my favorite and best Tele. It's worth every penny I spent.
