Rebellious in look and thunderous in tone, the Limited-Edition Custom Jazz Bass Heavy Relic from Fender Custom Shop has enough swank to make you break out the shades and leather jacket. There’s no messing around with this low-end behemoth, built with a two-piece ash body clad in a Heavy Relic lacquer finish, a tinted quartersawn maple neck with a ’60 Jazz Bass “U” profile and a 9.5"-radius fingerboard with 20 medium-jumbo frets. Hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass pickups are wired to knurled chrome master volume and tone knobs on a chrome control plate for a classically enticing look. Other features include a three-ply black pickguard, vintage-style bass bridge with four threaded saddles, vintage-style ’66 “lollipop” tuning machines, bone nut and a third strap button on the rear of the headstock for old-school upright-style play. A deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity are also included.

Fantastic tones!!! I love the look. If I had the money I would buy one of each color. I got the same one that was in pictures on this site. I use it for practicing, recording, and playing out. The neck is a dream and really fast. Its very well balanced and the weight is comfortable. The specs say it's a 64 body and neck(if you minus the binding and inlays). Anyways I love what Fender Custom Shop did with this beauty. They never disappoint. This is my 2nd custom shop. I have a 57 pbass. Some may disagree, but I believe you get what you pay for when it comes to instruments. I'd recommend any Custom shop if you can afford it

Fender Custom Shop Limited-Edition Custom Jazz Bass Heavy Relic Aged Natural

HI, I'm looking at this Fender CS bass and was wondering if you have pictures of the actual bass for sale and an accurate weight. Not sure if you have 1 or several of these models, but I've seen the relicing vary on a few of them online. Any more specific information and pictures is appreciated.

Best,
Steve
