Single-button FOOTSWITCH

Ordered from Guitar Center of Falls Church,VA when I purchased the last Fender Frontman 25R from the store. The STORE MANAGER actually ordered and handled the delivery/purchase of the footpedal, which I appreciate as a courteous customer-service oriented retail value, which a lot of us "veteran" musicians take notice of and appreciate in Guitar Center floor reps. I am completely happy with the amp, footswitch and Guitar Center . . . Thanks, Mike Loughran - Arlington, VA

Switch is a switch

Well, what can you say... It's a switch, and it switches like it is supposed to... good quality footswitch. One needed improvement: An LED indicator light on the pedal so you know visually that the Fat-channel is on/off... Would be great.

This is a simple to use single foot switch. I find it more efficient than the switch that is bundled with a pedal since the pedal can sometimes trigger the switch unintentionally.

I just got a vintage vibrochamp without the footswitch. Fender replacements with the RCA are triple the price of this one. I snipped off the 1/4" and soldered a RCA. Easiest conversion ever.

This is a simple on/off switch. The construction is metal. It's solid, but lightwiegth. The cable is plenty long. No complaints.

I bought a new Rumble bass 200 combo amp and had to order the foot switch separately - it should be included with the amplifier.

Does the footswitch need to be connected to the wall? Or is it just straight into the amp and you're good to go?

When connected to a Mustang I (V.2) amp, how does the switch know what to switch?

When the footswitch is compressed the contacts will be closed, connecting the electric circuit and switching the machine to “on”. When wired Normally Closed, the contacts remain closed, with the electric circuit connected until the footswitch is compressed which breaks the circuit switching the device “off”.

I have a Marshall Valvestate VS30-R amp whose footswitch jack switches between the clean channel and the Overdriven channel. What it needs in order to switch the channels is to close (or open) the connection between the two wires connected to the jack. Does this footswitch simply toggle between closing and opening the connection between the two conductors coming into it? If so, it will work. If not, I'll have to search for a different footswitch.

You should see a jack for it underneath the back plate. Near where the reverb tank plugs in.
