One of the really nice things about Fender instruments is that you can change the look of your instrument with relative ease. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is to replace the pickguard. Fender offers a variety of pickguards in different colors and materials to help you add a personal touch to your favorite Fender instrument.

I have a 1969 Fender Jazz Bass and this pick guard works well but two wholes on either side of the pickup do not lineup. As for the rest of the screw alignment it works very well. Looks good. I'm a happy camper, Since I can't remebe what happened to the original.

Will this pick guard work for my 5 string fender jazz bass? Will the cut out for the neck be wide enough?
