Crafted at Fender's Mexico manufacturing facility, this genuine vintage-style Fender Precision Bass neck features a substantial 1951 "U"-shaped profile and 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets. The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing and a gloss urethane finish offers smooth playability. This replacement neck is the perfect way to give your P Bass a classic 1951-style playing feel.

    Technically? No. A Jazz and Precision are not the same - technically. I'm not telling you this but the neck pockets are the same. The bridges are the same. If you know what you're doing it can be done.

    Would you be able to tell me if the Fender '51 P-Bass Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard (Item #: 1500000271260) would fit properly on a MIM Fender Player P-Bass?
