Fender Custom Shop 24" Pinstripe Barstool

Item shipped very fast. Upon opening, item purchased needed assembling. Assembly was made rather easy, instructions were very easy to follow, and tools came with the purchased item. I have tried and also own the other three Fender barstool types and of them all, this one and the one that looks like a poker chip seat the best. The padding for the seat comes all the way up, and all the way across the top of the seat, for maximum comfort. Seen the 30" one at the store and sat in it, but for long periods of playing I found by feet resting on the footrest of the stool where on this one (24") my feet were on the floor.

Assembly Required

The stool is fine, once I assembled it. It's a stool. It's sturdy. It swivels. The graphics are nice yet not gaudy. However.... I received it unassembled. The instructions are fair. The tools supplied are a joke, unless you really want be MacGyver with this. The Legs don't really match up, so you have to "stretch the legs" while someone tries to start threading the nut onto the bolt. The leg caps are not fully installed, so you have to level the chair legs --- I used a dead blow hammer to level them out. The swivel needs to be turned 45 degrees to get the bolts in. I used a combination of a flat head screwdriver and a couple vice grips to get the swivel positioned properly for installation. Also it really helped that I had an impact wrench to tighten everything. Overall, it wasn't a problem for me, but I consider myself handy with a solid assortment of tools. You may want to ask Guitar Center if they have assembly services if you're not.

Assembly was a breeze. I used my own 10mm wrench for tightening the four bolts to the swivel bracket but the supplied allen wrenches worked just fine for the other fasteners. The key is to wait until all bolts are in place and the stool legs are settled in flat on the floor before tightening everything up. It's sturdy, it swivels, and it's comfortable enough to sit on while practicing. I like the height as my feet are on the floor.

Refused return shipping. It was the shortest one available so I assumed it would be appropriate for a classical guitar stool. It was not. It was too high for my height. Useless to me as it is not adjustable. Returned as new out of the box and still refused return shipping. Will have to find one from a "friendlier" guitar shop

Easy to assemble. I have the 30 inch stool also which I use for playing my guitars. The 24 inch stool fits under a table.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Not much padding on the seat. Gets uncomfortable after about 30 minutes.

The assembly was difficult as well as the leg pieces being different so it isn't steady. The swivel peice that connects to the cousin doesn't tighten fully so it wobbles

This project was nearly impossible to put together, no pieces fit, and it wobbles like no ones business. The rubber foot stops are cheap and lopsided. I have spent 3 hours trying to assemble two of these. Their next stop is my garbage can. Completely JUNK
