Fender Super Bullets are the only strings I put on my axe. The Bullet end forms a perfect fit; like a continuation of the guitar. This string coupling and the steel cores give your guitar fantastic tone. I like the nickel plating too. It feels smooth and it helps the strings keep their sound longer than other brands I've tried. It makes the strings look cool too. But in the end, it's all about the tone. With the LR's you get string-bending flexibility plus the mass on the wound strings to drive your sound. Try 'em out.
