Ideal for any guitarist or bassist, this combination seat and guitar stand makes it easy to have a productive practice session or survive a long performance. Comfortably padded for long playing sessions, the seat is covered in a woven gray tweed fabric. The backrest is shaped like a Fender 351 pick and features an embroidered "F" logo. The flip-up/down instrument cradle is designed to fit most guitars and basses. When you aren't playing, the cradle displays your instrument securely. The integrated crossbar footrest accommodates almost any leg position. Designed for easy transport, the seat legs fold and the backrest is removable to make it even more compact when headed to a gig.

This will be very useful for my solo acoustic gigs

This is a good portable guitar stool that I can use for both practice at home and for acoustic solo gigs. I can be seated while I play but still be upright with good posture for singing. It's helpful to have a stool with a back. It's a good height for me but I'm 6'4"; it might be a bit tall for some users. A bit more padding in the seat would be nice for those of us who aren't well padded below. ;-)

Uncomfortable

I use this seat for practice. I'm an intermediate player just trying to find a comfortable way to play. The design and height are great. I love how I can transition from sitting to standing so seamlessly. The guitar stand makes storage very easy and it's also nice to leave both the seat and guitar out if you have company (it's a good looking chair). It's very inviting and it will entice your guests to want to sit and play. The only problem is the seat is really hard. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this way or it just sat in the warehouse too long. I would rate this chair by Fender 5/5 if it was more comfortable. I can only sit on the seat for 20-30 minutes before I need to stand. I would love to hear back from either Fender or guitar center. The chair isn't cheap so I want to make sure I'm getting what I paid for. I've tried uploading a video but it didn't work.

Practicing an hour or so each day, this seat is a tremendous asset (no pun intended). Practice standing for a while, then sitting. The seat is the perfect height to leave the music stand in the same position. Need a break? The guitar stand included in the seat is perfect for placing your guitar while away.

Practicing for over an hour each day, this chair offers great opportunity to practice both standing up and sitting with no changes necessary. The guitar stand included with the chair allows you to "leave" and comeback without making other adustments.

The studio chair is the ideal height to transition from standing to sitting for guitar practice. Comfortable and has a back to rest if needed. The guitar stand with the chair is great if you need to leave for a few moments.

Bought as an aid to practice sessions. Item is as described- handy, easy to assemble and holds a guitar when not in use. But … the seating surface is extremely small which made it uncomfortable. I've already returned it and will use my Fender stool to practice.
