Description
The Fender '64 Custom Princeton Reverb 12W 1x10 Tube Guitar Combo Amp brings iconic Fender reverb and tone into the modern age. This reissue of the legendary 1964 Princeton Reverb amp captures the original's vintage vibe and sound, with premium components and innovative updates for today's players. This amp is perfect for practice, recording, or small gigs.
12W of All-Tube Power
At the heart of this reissued Princeton Reverb amp is a pair of reissued Groove Tubes 6V6 output tubes that provide a warm, harmonically rich 12W of tube power. The 6V6 tubes are known for their smooth overdrive and dynamic touch sensitivity, allowing guitarists to achieve a range of tones from sparkling cleans to saturated overdrive.
Reverb and Tremolo Effects
This '64 Custom Princeton Reverb amp features the original's onboard reverb and tremolo effects for added depth and modulation. The reverb effect can be adjusted via the Reverb knob to add a subtle ambient shimmer or a heavy, washy surf sound. The tremolo effect provides a rhythmic pulse that can be adjusted with the Speed and Intensity knobs for different rates and depths.
Vintage-Style Cab and Speaker
Housed in a lacquered tweed cabinet, the '64 Custom Princeton Reverb amp exudes vintage Fender style. Inside, a custom 10" Celestion G10N-40 speaker handles the amp's all-tube power with ease, providing tight, punchy lows, rich mids and articulate highs. A standby switch allows for muting the speaker when changing guitars or taking breaks.
Additional Premium Features
This reissue Princeton Reverb amp includes premium components like a reverb tank with upgraded transducers, solid pine cabinet, and a heavy duty all-tube circuit board. The front panel features chicken head knobs, jewel indicator light, and Fender vintage style logos to complete the vintage vibe. A protective vinyl cover, shock-mounted tube sockets, and a grounded AC power cable provide added protection and convenience.

I wanted a hand-wired amp. I looked at a lot of boutique amps, but realized I really wanted a Princeton Reverb. I live remote, so no amp techs to figure out the issues, repairs and mods of a 40+ year old amp. I bought new. Dead quiet at idle and has 'that sound'. And it's hand wired!

This amp is what I've been looking for! A huge improvement in sound with all the guitars I own. I like this the best over all the amps I own (Mesa boogie mark v 35 combo, vox ac30cc, orange tiny terror, blues jr, modified champ 600, English Marshall class 5, modified value jr. Stack, vintage silvertone twin twelve, and a vintage silvertone 1482) It's has more sonic character than I excepted! I would buy another one.
Just perfect.

Best amp I have ever bought. Much better tone than a 65 reissue, even nicer than my vintage 65 Princeton. Money very well spent.

The price and photos reflect a hand wired amp,..however the description doesn't say anything about that, and someone else asked here and was told that this is not a hand wired amp. So what gives? This has to be a hand wired amp correct?
