The Fender Acoustasonic 40 amplifier provides 40 watts of power and full, natural tone for acoustic-electric guitars and vocals. Perfect for small gigs, open mics or rehearsals, this grab-and-go amp has two channels with XLR and 1/4" inputs to support both instruments and microphones. Digital hall reverb adds depth and dimension to your sound. With a vintage-inspired look and intuitive controls, the Acoustasonic 40 is an all-in-one acoustic amplifier that performs as great as it looks.

Two Special Design Speakers Deliver Crisp Highs and Rich Lows

Simple Controls Let You Shape Your Sound

Sculpt your tone with the Acoustasonic 40's 3-band EQ, which offers dedicated bass, middle and treble controls for each channel. Digital hall reverb—with a level control for each channel—adds ambience and depth. Convenient volume knobs provide independent level control, allowing you to set the ideal balance between your instrument and microphone.

Versatile Connectivity for Gigging and Practice

In addition to the two combo XLR/1/4" inputs, the Acoustasonic 40 features an auxiliary input for connecting MP3 players or other external audio devices, a headphone output for silent practice, and an XLR line out for connecting to a PA system or recording interface.

Rugged and Portable Amplifier for Life On the Go

The Acoustasonic 40's vintage-style brown vinyl covering and metal grille protect the amp during transport and performance. At just 16.5 lb. this portable acoustic amplifier is easy to grab and go for rehearsals, open mics, and intimate gigs. Perfect

This amp is exactly what I was looking for. I use it for a small venue with a half dozen other players and the sound is as good as any other equipment there, most of which cost much more. I like the fact that I can use it for my acoustic guitar and a mic or allow a friend to plug in their instrument and have control over each channel independently. One of the attributes I looked for was an amp without undo sound effects. Reverb is the only addition I wanted and it works very well without being excessive. I am very pleased with the simplicity and the quality of this amp and would recommend it highly.

Flat Sound

The sound is very flat, mostly midrange. Sound thru Aux port is as well flat - no flavor. I returned the item unfortunately

Quality product. It's easy to use. I use one input for a mic, the other is for a hollow body guitar. I play a variety of genres. This very portable unit is clear and loud enough for small venues. The line out works well to my powered speaker or PA if needed.

  • I recommend this excellent Fender product.

I use this to hear my voice and Merlin guitar amplified. It works great. You can add live effects on each track. It's also a good liking amp that is easy to move around.

I plan to use this for smaller venues for guitar and microphone. Should work fine for that and easy to use and hook up. A little disappointed in the cabinet size and thought if it was larger would give the 6.5 inch speakers a little more body. Very powerful and seldom turn it up more than a quarter.

  • Great sound and value

I see it has reverb, does it have chorus, a number of amps have both.
