I'm a professional musician, but not much of a harmonica player. I've purchased a few harmonicas over the years to play around with for inspiration- always going with the professional quality Hohner and Lee Oskar offerings- the ones my professional friends would use live. I would say that these are a cut above those other ones, so as a package, this is an incredible deal. They are a little bit heavier than any of the other similar harmonicas I own, so I can see that as a downside if you have a lousy holder, which I do. I will have to upgrade. In any case, if the package looks tempting, but you are worried that the Blues Deville harmonicas won't be as good as other similarly priced harps, rest assured that these are as good or better than anything in else in that $35 price range.
It gets stuck.

I'm a fairly new blues harmonica player, I've been playing for around a year. I saw these harmonicas around four months ago and decided to get them. When I first played them they sounded great I played them for a few days before I used them at a gig. It was cold outside (40) so it might have been because of the weather but when I started playing them some of the holes would get stuck and I wouldn't be able to play those few notes. I thought it was because of the weather so I had another gig the next day and the exact same thing happened. This has happened every time I've used them sense. It sometime becomes unstuck but it only lasts for a little while. I do not recommend these harmonicas.
