Fender is proud to offer the CC-60SCE Concert acoustic-electric guitar, an all-around performer perfect for any musician's needs. Boasting a solid spruce top, and mahogany back and sides, the CC-60SCE projects with clarity and depth for an acoustic tone that inspires. Its concert body style provides comfort and access, ideal for long practice sessions or live performance. When plugging in, the onboard Fishman electronics and built-in tuner offer simple control over your amplified sound. The CC-60SCE also features an easy-to-play neck with rolled fingerboard edges, perfect for beginners and experts alike.

Solid Spruce Top Provides Crisp, Balanced Tone

The CC-60SCE owes its acoustic prowess to its solid spruce top, which produces a vibrant, balanced tone. Spruce is a favorite for acoustic instruments thanks to its strength, brightness and sensitivity. Strum hard or pick lightly, the CC-60SCE responds with a clear, ringing voice. Enjoy the nuances of each note or open up the sound by engaging the onboard electronics.

Onboard Fishman Electronics Expand Your Options

When plugging in, the CC-60SCE comes alive with its Fishman pickup/preamp system. Sculpt your amplified tone with the volume, bass, middle and treble controls, adding effects to suit any musical style. The built-in tuner ensures you always perform in tune, while the preamp's phase switch reduces feedback at high volumes. Whether on stage or recording, the Fishman electronics provide flexibility and convenience.

Comfortable Concert Body and Easy-to-Play Neck

The CC-60SCE proves that comfort and playability don't have to be compromised for affordability. Its concert body style contours comfortably to your body, ideal for extended practice or performance. The easy-to-play neck features rolled fingerboard edges for a smooth, natural feel along the walnut fretboard. First-time players will appreciate the accessible neck, while seasoned musicians can explore the fretboard with ease.

Durable Mahogany Back and Sides

Beneath the spruce top, the CC-60SCE features mahogany back and sides, a tonewood combination that provides warmth, projection and durability. Mahogany's resonant properties enhance the spruce top's crisp tone, creating an instrument that sings clearly and with depth. Its strength also ensures the CC-60SCE withstands the rigors of frequent playing and travel.

Bought on a whim. Wanted a decent acoustic guitar without breaking the bank. Looked at a few others including feature comparable guitars from Martin, Taylor, Breedlove and Yamaha. This came out on top for price, fit, finish and playability. A Yamaha APX600 was the only other guitar to compete. I'm an electric guy, so the low action and easy playing neck are very important to me. Holds tuning great, plays easy, great tone and overall well featured enough to suit most styles. Would highly recommend this guitar for tone, versatility, affordability and playability.

I traded in my old beginner acoustic guitar for this acoustic-electric so I can amplify at church or for my prison ministry. Had the old guitar for years, but never really learned to play it-taking lessons now!

Fender® Dura-Tone® 880L Coated 80/20 (.012-.052 Gauges). While it's possible to use a lighter gauge, say 11's as opposed to 12's, it will change the neck tension and may require adjustment In a case like this we recommend having a qualified guitar tech look at the guitar.
