Excellent Amp
I've been playing guitar since 1985. I've played a few different guitars through this amp. Sounds amazing with a les paul w the burstbuckers. Sounded Dull when my Son played throught it with his $200 Ibanez. But I lent him my les paul and he sounded great. The amp responds perfectly with good guitars, not so much with cheaply made guitars.

great at first
At first I loved this amp. Good clean sound and lots of options with the on board effects and modeling. Decent price. I've had mine for a little over two years now, and recently the gain channel started cutting in and out. It sometimes sounds like someone is playing with the voice knob while I am playing. Of course that is the channel I was using most. Also, even when I use the footswitch to turn effects off, they still stay on from time to time. I quickly tired of the on board effects, and that was a main reason for purchasing this amp. I tried to contact fender for some advice, and never heard back. The clean channel is still working fine, and I still use this amp daily, but I got it hoping that being a fender, it would be more reliable. I suggested this amp to some friends and one bought it, I only hope his lasts longer than mine. I might still recommend it to someone, but I'd have to mention that they could have some trouble. I added an output jack to mine (that voids the warranty) so I can disconnect the amp, so now it is basically just an extension cabinet for my more dependable amp heads. Also I plan on putting new speakers in it, so I kinda feel like I paid for a box that I could have made in my own woodshop.

This amp is beyond my expectations. For the price it has many effects and the sound is superb! Useing headphones and an MP3 is a plus. It is lighter than amps I have used the same size. Easy to move around. I bought a rack to elevate the amp to very easly use the controls while I am playing and practicing.

The amp for any reason or any season. It looks killer and sounds killer! Two 12" speakers and 100 watts of power make it great for small or large gigs! It has many built in effects like digital delay, chorus etc. and a good array of amp models to choose from! Get sparkling clean tones and nice gritty ZZ Top tones at the push of a button on the included foot switch! It's solid state so it's lightweight as well. This is one of the top amps I've played and I've played through many amps from Marshall to Peavey and every thing in between! Plus the price is so low!!! I might even buy a second one! Go try one out for yourself!

This amp is OK at best. It's very loud. That's not the problem. Amp models and the effects are very quirky. Volume changes with different selections. Can't be used in a live situation, unless you're using pedals. That said, the sound is very thin. Great for a beginner for the $.

Upgraded from the little Fender Champion and I'm really enjoying this amp. Great effects built in. It's really loud and I think my neighbors hate me now.

Can I use this amp for the bass guitar?
A guitar amp is not designed to reproduce the low frequencies that are typically produced by a bass guitar. This means that it can compromise the sound quality of the instrument. Besides this, improper use of the speaker can also lead to damagesubmitted2 years ago
