The Fender Champion II 100 combo amplifier delivers versatile, world-class tones at an affordable price. With 100W of power and dual 12" Fender Special Design speakers, the Champion II 100 provides gig-worthy volume and projection. It offers two channels—each with various amp voicings and effects to shape your tone. You'll have shimmering cleans, organic overdrives and searing high-gain distortions at your fingertips.

Dial in Iconic Fender Tones

The Champion II 100 lets you summon Fender's signature sparkling cleans and smooth overdrives. Select the Classic voicing for glassy tones reminiscent of a '60s Twin Reverb. Choose Modern to mimic the warm breakup of a '50s Bassman. The British voicing provides VOX-inspired chime, while the Hi Gain setting unleashes thick distortion for heavy riffing. With this range of tones, you can nail the sounds of surf rock, blues, hard rock and metal.

Two Channels With a Universe of Tone

The Champion II 100's two channels give you a spectrum of tones to craft your sound. Channel 1 starts with Fender's signature sparkling clean tone. Add gain to move into bluesy overdrive and classic rock crunch. Channel 2 opens the door to higher-gain British and modern distortion flavors. With the Voice control, morph between '60s scoop, '70s curve and '80s lead voicings. The tonal possibilities in this portable powerhouse are nearly infinite. The dual 12" Fender Special Design speakers delivers full, articulate tone that's perfect for any volume.

Built-in Effects for Added Versatility

The Champion II 100 also includes a variety of built-in effects to enhance your tone. Add shimmering reverb to your cleans or tape echo inspired delay to your overdrives. Chorus, tremolo and Vibratone provide modulation to thicken and animate your sound. The effects are simple to select and dial in to match the needs of your music. With this palette of sounds and effects, the Champion II 100 has the versatility for any style.

Iconic Fender Tone and Styling

For over 70 years, Fender has crafted legendary amps that have shaped the sound of popular music. The Champion II 100 carries on this tradition with world-class Fender tone that sounds great whether you're practicing at home or performing on stage. Its classic black vinyl covering and silver grille cloth give the Champion II 100 a timeless Fender vibe. This amp was purchased to add to the music room, makes every guitar sound amazing. The power and effects are endless. I was looking at the champion 50 then played the 100 and the deal was sealed. #sweepstakes

I bought this to add to the music room, it makes every guitar I have sound amazing. Plenty of power and the effects are endless. I was looking at the 50 but decided after playing both to get the 100. You can't go wrong with this amp.

Was looking to complement my Katana and this gives me something incredibly powerful with really good tones. While the Katana has the ability to give you tons of effects the Fender Champion keeps it simple. Discovering a solid catch-all type tone on the Champion is very straightforward. Turns a few dials and discover a range from super clean , SRV style blues and some really good chest thumping old school NWBHM gain tones.

Its a great amp. I have two guitars, and one amp. A les paul, and a evh striped series. This amp makes them both sound amazing. The clean chanel is awesome, although its missing a few knobs in my opinion, like mids. Yet, on the distorted channel, theres a clean option with all the knobs, so its fixed. It has plenty of built in effects, so you really don't even need many pedals. You can only use one effect at once, however, for most of them. My only cons are the distortion channel really only has a few good options that are cleaner, and not as muffled. My favorite, just turn the knob to the last metal effect, and it sounds awesome. The only other con is it hates being quiet. Its amazing, yet its ear hurtingly loud. I love it, even though it shakes my windows with vigorous extent. Its an awesome buy, especially for four hundred bucks. I love my chanpion 100, and im sure you will too.

This amp is a great value with all the Fender tone I love. The clean channel sounds a lot like the Twin I had years ago with loads of headroom. The gain channel set to the Princeton setting with edge of breakup is so sweet. Add some reverb and delay, and it's everything I needed.

#sweepstakes. This Fender Champion ii 100 has an excellent price. This amplifier has meet all my expectations and many more I had not considered. I bought a Fender Stratocaster a few years back and had been playing it through a Line 6. When I plugged the Strat into the Fender OMG the guitar was brought to life. The sound was magical and with so much clarity both high and low tones. Very easy to use and all the effect are much more than I ever imagined. The price was definitely worth the quality, appearance and sounds of this amplifier.

Can I also use it to plug in a microphone for singing?

Can I also use it to plug in a microphone for singing?

Technically, yes, but only under specific conditions: 1. Input Jack Type The Champion 100 has 1/4" instrument inputs, not XLR mic inputs. So, you'll need a 1/4" TS cable mic or use an XLR-to-1/4" adapter or cable for a standard vocal mic like the Shure SM58. Signal Level Issues Microphones output mic-level signals, which are much weaker than the instrument-level signals the amp is designed to handle. As a result, your mic may sound very quiet, unless it's a powered condenser mic with a built-in preamp, or you're using a mic preamp in between. 3. Sound Quality Guitar amps are voiced for electric guitars, not vocals. Expect a colored, mid-focused tone, not a clean PA-style sound. It might work okay for gritty blues vocals or lo-fi effects, but not ideal for live singing clarity.

I've been using an old fender bullet 15 Dsp but I think the ground went bad because it keeps shocking me, already checked grounding in the guitar and everything's fine. Will this work well for like a bedroom practice amp for like Metallica/Slipknot tones, I have a squire tele as well.

The Fender Champion 100 (sometimes called Champion II 100) can work as a bedroom practice amp, but it's not ideal for that specific purpose or for achieving Metallica/Slipknot-style high-gain tones without some help. Here's why: Pros: Built-in amp voicings and effects: It has a range of preset amp models, including higher-gain ones. Clean Fender tone on Channel 1, good for pedals. 100 watts solid state: loud enough for rehearsals or small gigs. Affordable and reliable. 100 watts is overkill for a bedroom — you'll barely turn the volume up past 1 or 2. The onboard gain tones are okay but not super tight or aggressive like a dedicated high-gain amp (e.g., Peavey 6505, EVH 5150, etc.). If you're trying to get tight, scooped, high-gain chug: Use a distortion or preamp pedal (like a Boss Metal Zone, Revv G3, or Fortin Grind into the clean channel). Consider a noise gate to tame hiss at bedroom levels. Possibly use an EQ pedal to fine-tune mids. Alternatives for Bedroom Metal Practice: Boss Katana 50 MkII – excellent amp modeling, lower wattage, headphone out. Line 6 Catalyst 60 – great amp models and effects. Positive Grid Spark – smart amp, very bedroom-friendly. Peavey Vypyr X2 – good for high-gain tones, practice volume.

Can you plug 2 guitars into this amp?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
Technically possible, but not recommended: Option 1: Use a passive splitter (like a Y-cable) Drawback: Both guitars will share the same EQ, volume, and effects, and they may interact unpredictably (impedance mismatches, volume drops). Risk: Could degrade tone or even damage the amp or guitars in rare cases.

The main differences between the Fender Champion 100 and the Champion II 100 are that the Champion II has a USB-C port and tap tempo control, and the Champion 100 has digital amplifier modeling.
