Nice stand. Would buy again.

So far, so good! I bought this to use on a Gibson Firebird because, as anybody who has ever seen a Firebird knows, they simply will not sit on their bottom without tipping. I was a bit concerned to hang a thinline Tele on it but that seems to work fine as well. The guitars lean back well and seem to be in no danger of tipping even when I pull them forward a bit; they settled right back. A few reviewers have mentioned that the rings at the top fall off very easy and I have found that to be true as well.

Is the top supposed to be off center?

I bought one on Stupid Deal of the Day. It's my first hanging stand. When i assembled it, the holding fixture is about 3 degrees off center. It's holding a telecaster and while it holds it ok, its still not square as it should be. I wasn't sure if it was one of the reasons of the Stupid Deal to get rid of these, or if its supposed to be that way or what. I was really surprised that Fender QA let this pass through... I use it, but its one of those things that every time I put my guitar in it, it doesn't feel right. Overall, that is a blemish on the Fender brand.

I saw reviews that said it was unstable. That's not my experience at all. I think it's perfectly stable. I'm using it will a fender strat. It's a pretty standard guitar. It is my first floor stand that only hold the guitar at the neck. I was always buying the ones with the fork to hold the bottom. I prefer this type now. Mainly because the strap doesn't get caught. It does have a sleeker look also but the function is more important than looks to me.

This stand locking mechanism on the neck never functioned properly and after my second show the tightening screw fell out and won't go back in. I rated 2 because when it worked it was sturdy.

  • Third time buying one of these, would buy again

Picked up a new Les Paul Jr at my local Guitar Center but forgot to order one of these stands in advance. Asked and they happened to have one in-store, which was a surprise because I thought they were website only. Great stand, have 3 and would purchase again. #sweepstakes

If you like to leave the strap and the cord on the guitar this is the way to go. My old stands would always catch on the strap or the cord when I picked up the guitar; and I would have to untangle everything to separate them. I hated that. This is much better.

Well made!... Heavy enough for what it is intended to be. Holds my 5 string Yamaha Bass perfectly. Small point, but I like the fact it is designed so that the neck does not accidentally or easily slip out of the holder. The angle of the tilt is perfect, I tried to "accidently" knock it over and was glad to see it would take real effort to do. Could a drunk on the stage knock it over... yes, but keep them off the stage!!

I have owned many guitar stands through 30 years of playing, I considered at first, this to be a slight improvement over the ones I have used in the past. I was wrong, this is a giant leap to ameliorate a simple guitar stand. Well done, I will purchase this product again

Anyone get a good idea for the two circular foam pieces at the top on the neck cradle? They're always falling off and don't seem to be substantial enough to really do anything-

How does this stand hold a Fender telecaster headstock? Often these types of stands allow the headstock to slide through and smash the strings.
